Whispering Wind & Rain

James Ward provides us with two poems this week with a early Spring theme.

Whispering Wind

Whispered on the wind
A memory forgotten
A reminder to the mind
Of a memory forgotten
Now, from the mind
A memory no longer forgotten
Whispering on the wind

Rain

Is rain the tear drops of the world?

Crying for the ruin seen?

Is rain the shame of the world?

For man caused ruin seen.

Is rain the bath of the world?

    Washing the dirt unseen?

Is rain the restorer of the world?

    For man caused pollutants unseen?

Is rain the food of the world?

         Feeding the environment seen?

Is rain the food of man around the world?

Nourishing mans need to be clearly seen?

Is rain the eyewash of the world?

So the environment of the world is clearly seen?

Is rain mans eyewash around the world?

So the beauty of the environment is clearly seen?

Has the rain of the world?

A beauty of it’s own to be seen,

Shared by all of the men of the world?

Is the beauty of the world by man seen?

While the rains drip from the skies of the world?

Does rain make the men of the world by others seen?

Look around them and see more clearly their world.

Is the beauty of the world by man seen?

While the rains drip from the skies of the world?

Does rain make the men of the world by others seen?

Look around them and see more clearly their world.
